The brand experience for Bedford/St. Martins builds on the core values of rigor, creativity, innovation and accessibility. The new identity includes the icon of the letter “b,” a simple typographic solution incorporating the additional meaning of three underlines, a commonly-known proofreading mark for “capitalize.” The project included reseach, messaging, concept, design and execution. It is based on the typeface Nobel, with slight modifications.
